PAR Submittal and NesCom Review
In order to start work on a new standard, a PAR (Project Authorization Request) must be submitted. Work on a draft IEEE standard document cannot start until the PAR is reviewed by NesCom (New Standards Committee) and approved by the IEEE Standards Association Standards Board (SASB).
